400 Year Old Bonsai, Bonsai Master, Okazaki, Japan

Today we are going to look at some bonsai’s. The Definition of bonsai is a potted plant (such as a tree) dwarfed (as by pruning) and trained to an artistic shape also the art of growing such plants. I have come to a professional bonsai place in Okazaki. Okazaki is next city to where i live and it is about a 40 minute drive Okazaki is about twice as big as Nishio and has a population of around 400 thousand people. The name of the place we are visiting is Daiju-en and it is owned by Suzuki San . They have been growing bonsai here for over 100 years passing it down from generation to generation. One of his bonsai won the all Japan bonsai contest about 15 years ago. I will leave a link to their homepage in the descriptions below but it is only in Japanese but worth a look. I am going to come back here again in a month of so. If you would like to know anything about bonsai’s leave your questions in the comments below and I will ask them when I go back.
