Lancia Delta HF Integrale 16V Proto: Accelerations & Great Sounding Turbo Engine!

This video is about a monstrous Lancia Delta HF Integrale 16V I recorded last year during a Varano Rally Krono event, which is a little winter series held at Varano de’ Melegari race track, in Italy. It’s a mixture between a Formula Challenge race and a 3-laps rally special stage repeated three times during the day. A passenger or co-driver is mandatory. This Delta has been tuned and modified for these kind of races with quick and brief accelerations, so it’s also suitable for slaloms. It’s driven by Ivan Cavani who has improved and perfected it over the years. The engine maintain the original displacement but thanks to various mods (forged pistons and rods, a specifically designed crankshaft, RC Racing injectors, a Turbonetics Performance turbocharger) it’s now able to produce around 500hp with a pressure of over 1.5 bar.
