Making an IWB (Inside the Waistband) Leather Holster, 1911 3 Inch

This video demonstrates my process of making an IWB (Inside the Waistband) style leather holster for a 3 inch 1911 .45 ACP. I start off by making the pattern, including how I dissect the pattern into individual pattern pieces. Then I demonstrate the entire assembly process, from cutting out the leather, to burnishing, sewing, forming, and final finishing. ► Snap Hardware: T-Nut: 6-32 1/4“ Barrel - I buy these from two different sources. I get 1/2“ flange from McMaster, or 9/16“ flange Black Oxide from Index Fasteners. Snaps: Pull-the-DOT - I use the Cap, Socket and Stud, and I order them direct from DOT Fasteners Leather Washer: I make them myself out of 8 ounce vegetable tanned leather, dyed black and dipped in sealer. ► PATTERNS: ► IN STOCK ► PATREON: ► FOLLOW: ► TOOLS & GEAR (affiliate links) Air Brush - Badger 150 Airbrush:
