Game Recap: Penguins vs. Flyers () | Kasperi Kapanen’s Two-Goal Game

With Sidney Crosby out for the game, the Penguins needed to the whole team to step up against their Pennsylvania rivals. After an uneventful first period, Kasperi Kapanen scored two goals within the first 10 minutes of the middle frame. Later in the second period, Bryan Rust scored, giving the Penguins a two-goal lead to end the period. During the final period, the Penguins continued to play a strong game. Shortly after a Flyers goal, Cody Ceci scored, keeping the two-goal lead for the black and gold. To top it off, Mike Matheson scored into an empty net. A perfect first game for our fans to attend!
