What’d I Say (Ray Charles cover) - blues harmonica

Hakan Ehn plays Hohner Marine Band Crossover harmonica in the key of A. Modern blues harmonica techniques: overblow in hole 6 (at 1:23, 1:39) . My version of What’d I Say (Ray Charles) is inspired by the version recorded by the blues duo Satan and Adam (Sterling Magee and on harmonica: Adam Gussow). It’s on their album “Word on the Street“. Very good album! At 3:18-3:31 I use a phrase from Adam Gussow’s tune “Buford Chapel Breakdown“ from his album KICK AND STOMP. Also very nice album!
