Santabárbara - Charly (Live on Austrian TV, 1974)

Santabárbara was a pop band from Spain, which consisted of Mario Balaguer, Enrique Milian and Alberto López. In 1973/1974, the group became famous with the song “Charly“ which first reached the Top 5 of the German charts and then became a hit record in Austria and Switzerland. Santabarbara released more music (such as their second album “Regreso“) throughout the 1070s. In 1981, their so far final single “Samba Dance“ was released. Spotlight was a music show for the youth, which was aired between 1968 and 1978 by the Austrian Broadcasting Corporation (ORF). It was the counterpart to the shows “Beat Club“ or “Musikladen“ in Germany.
