Australian Dance Theatre | The Beginning of Nature

Weaving together live music and astonishingly powerful contemporary dance, The Beginning of Nature explores life cycles and themes of metamorphosis and transformation within nature. Acclaimed composer, Brendan Woithe, collaborated with Kaurna consultant, Jack Buckskin, to develop the original score fusing electronica with the strings of the acclaimed Zephyr Quartet. With live accompaniment by two vocalists, the score includes a libretto sung in Kaurna language, the first language of the Adelaide Plains, home to ADT.
