Johann Sebastian Bach: BWV 537 - Fantasie - Bach with synthesizer (and digital piano)

Based on the piano transcription by Eugen d’Albert (1864-1932). This piece is one of my favourite compositions of J.S. Bach and I also cherish the orchester version by E. Elgar, which has been beautifully performed by Leonard Slatkin and the BBC Philharmonic orchestra. Pieces like these exemplify that music can excellently transmit the most profound existencial/ philosophical/ religious teachings. Performed on a highly touch-sensitive keyboard while the synthesizer is merely employed as sound module. So it’s good old “live playing“, but with enhanced sounds.
