This video about the spectacularly talented Fritz Eichenberg is not an exhaustive look at his entire body of work. In his lifetime he created a vast amount of illustration and graphic art, and consequently I have confined myself to a review of many, but far from all his many achievements. But I hope that what there is gives a balanced and absorbing account of what I think are some genuine highlights. And although much of his work is not for those who don’t share his obvious fascination for the darker side of life there are also a reasonable number of examples of his more lighthearted work too.
