UK ministers consider sending migrants to Ascension Island in ploy to stop small boats

TalkTV presenter Rosanna Lockwood says UK ministers are considering sending asylum seekers to Ascension Island, which is 4,000 miles from Britain, in another ploy to stop small boats. “Ministers are reportedly considering sending asylum seekers, here in Britain, to a remote island over 4,000 miles from the UK in another ploy to stop the boats,” Ms Lockwood said.
