Laura Miles - Sexuality and capitalism - the fight for LGBT liberation Hosted by Socialist Worker Student Society LONDON - 3rd March 2013 Capitalism’s crisis is engulfing the Eurozone. While the super-rich maintain lavish lifestyles ordinary people have been thrown into ever greater poverty by wage and pensions cuts. Resistance is growing. From Greece to Portugal millions of workers have joined mass revolts and general strikes. The revolutions in Egypt and the Arab world have shown a different path to change and have been a testament to our collective strength. At these events we will discuss and debate the alternative to cuts, austerity and capitalism, how we can turn sporadic resistance into revolution, and how we can effectively fight for liberation and socialism.
