AVT-40 - Fully Automatic SVT-40

A quick video of my three SVT-40 family rifles. First I start off with the two semiautomatic guns, and adjust their gas settings to the optimal values, and then I move to the main attraction, a AVT-40 that was converted in the 1970s and registered then with the ATF. The gun has since been transferred to me. I was interested in determine the reliability, rate of fire, and controlability for myself. Overall, I think I have the reliability issues sorted, it prefers one mag over the other, and likes a gas setting of 1.5. The rate of fire works out to be around 750 RPM, which is similar to what I have read. The gun is surprisingly easy to control within reason for a light weight rifle firing a full power cartridge at a very high rate of fire. The muzzle brake does it’s job admirably.
