Noi siamo, tramite lo Spirito, contemporanei della Natività, ma siamo già seduti con Cristo nei cieli. Ecco perché noi Ti contempliamo, Bambino posto in una mangiatoia, Tu sei il Dio, l’Altissimo; indicibile è la bellezza del tuo volto; nella Tua mano sinistra stringi l’universo tutto, mentre con la destra benedici, Amen. That is why we contemplate You, Child placed in a manger, You are the God, the Most High; inexpressible is the beauty of Your face; in Your left hand You hold the whole universe, while with Your right hand You bless.
