Village Hall - The Rough and the Smooth (1975)

A badminton tournament at the Village Hall becomes more competitive when the beautiful Helga turns up. Village Hall was an anthology television series made by Granada Television, that ran for two series (14 episodes) and each week featured a different story set in a village hall. This episode is from series two and episode three that originally aired on ITV and on the 8th June 1975. It stars Jan Francis, Kenneth Cranham, Linda Hayden, Barry Stokes, Jane Carr, Christopher Guard, Elizabeth Cassidy and it was directed by Alan Gibson, and written by Peter Terson.
