China, Nicaragua resume diplomatic relations, sign joint communique

For more: China and Nicaragua resumed diplomatic relations on Friday, a day after the Central American nation severed links with the Taiwan region. The two countries signed the Joint Communique on the Resumption of Diplomatic Relations between the People’s Republic of China and the Republic of Nicaragua, a spokesperson for the Chinese Foreign Ministry announced on Friday.
