19th Century Eightsome Scotch Reel

Reconstructed by Richard Powers, performed by the Academy of Danse Libre in Palo Alto, November 2015. The footwork was described in 1805 and the figures were described in many dance manuals throughout the 19th century. The original tempo was a bit faster than today’s Scottish reels.
