What I eat in a week at my NONNA’s house in ITALY 🐟

“Cooking with Nonna Rosa“ Cookbook Link: I can’t believe this is already the third episode of my series “What I eat in a week in Italy at my Nonna’s house“ - time really does fly 🥹 I added 3 extra days to this episode as a little “thank you“ for all the love you’ve shown since the beginning of this journey ❤️ I hope you enjoy this video as much as I enjoyed eating all the yummy food my Nonna prepared for us! This video was filmed in August 2023—I’m so sorry it took me so long to post it but I wanted to share the cookbook at the same time, which took me a while to perfect! It wasn’t easy because Nonna doesn’t follow any specific measurements when she cooks. Each time she makes a recipe, it turns out a little different from the last. I had to guess all the ingredient quantities by eye and test each recipe about 10-15 times before it came out tasting like hers 😅. But it was a labor of love, and I’m so happy we made it happen. This video is a bit different from my previous ones because I experimented with a more “cinematic“ style. Chris (@chiyoks) did the color grading for the whole video and I’m so happy with the final result! Be sure to check out his channel; he creates stunning cinematic videos, and I look up to his filming/editing style so much! Hope you enjoy the video and thank you for watching 🙏🏻 Love, Rosie [Cookbook Recipes] A big thank you to anyone considering getting the cookbook! Here are the recipes showcased in this video, also featured in the cookbook: - “Baked Stuffed Pasta“ (minute 2:29 - page 21 in the cookbook) - “Stuffed Anchovies in Tomato Sauce“ (minute 14:14 - page 35 in the cookbook) - “Grilled Swordfish Steaks“ (minute 15:25 - page 37 in the cookbook) - “Lasagna (Nonna’s Version)“ (minute 20:20 - page 17 in the cookbook) - “Breaded Veal Cutlets with Salad“ (minute 22:10 - page 31 in the cookbook) - “Grilled Stockfish and Pepper Salad“ (minute 29:22 - page 33 in the cookbook) - “Pasta with Goat Sauce“ (minute 35:01 - page 29 in the cookbook) - “Zucchini Flower Fritters“ (minute 35:49 - page 11 in the cookbook) - “Eggplant Parmesan“ (minute 41:11 - page 13 in the cookbook) - “Cranberry Bean Pasta“ (minute 48:37 - page 27 in the cookbook) - “Pasta with Flat Green Beans“ (minute 58:57 - page 25 in the cookbook) I hope you enjoy making and, most importantly, eating the dishes 🍝✨ [Shoutouts] @ (instagram account) is playing the saxophone at minute 45:32 🎷 [About Me] Hi my name is Rosie, I’m 26 and my life is a bit confusing so i’m writing this lol. To make it easy: - I was born in Northern Italy, in the region of Veneto - My whole family still lives there (mom, dad and my little sister Marty) - I moved to Toronto, Canada, at 19 all alone to ✨find myself✨ (spoiler: it didn’t work, i got more lost if anything) So, I live half my life in Italy and half my life in Canada. Also, my mom is from Moldova (country in Eastern Europe) and my dad is from Calabria (region in Southern Italy) and both my grandmas still live there. So you’ll occasionally see me going there as well. I hope this clears things up a bit.. or maybe makes them more confusing lol. I don’t know, i tried 😄 [My Socials] instagram: [Business Inquiries] rositamaioinc@ [Filming Gear] Camera: Fujifilm XH2S [Chapters] 0:00 intro 1:05 day one (tuesday) 6:52 day two (wednesday) 10:08 day three (saturday) 19:41 day four (sunday) 26:18 day five (monday) 34:12 day six ( tuesday) 40:21 day seven (wednesday) 46:17 day eight (thursday) 51:08 day nine (saturday) 57:26 day ten (sunday)
