HOW COULD THIS HAPPEN WITHIN THE COUNTRY’S RICHEST BOROUGH? 😢 The Grenfell Tower fire could of been avoided. The external cladding was installed last year purely for aesthetic reasons. The cladding caused the fire to spread 😢. As someone who grew up in a 20th floor flat in a tower block just opposite #grenfelltower as a kid . I am saddened by the fact that 20 years on the system has continued to fail not only the poorest people but the most vulnerable people.
