“when the party’s over”(Billie Eilish)/“Mother(Pink Floyd) SOLO GUITAR PERFORMANCE + PHOTOGRAPHY

New Arrangement: I first thought about arranging a Billie Eilish tune back in Feb after some interesting music press (Google our names together, see what comes up). Then, after a challenge to play Dua Lipa’s “Don’t Start Now“ (see Apr 12 post) was so well received (thank u🙏🏼), I got inspired to try another modern pop hit alone on guitar ( looper at end). BTW, I’m beyond impressed by young Billie & her brother Finneas’s talents and use of their platform. “when the party’s over” isn’t the sort of dance track she’s most known for but it’s what won me over when they were on SNL last year. In that spirit, it’s 100% live (pardon the imperfections). I realize it’s sort of a crazy idea, blending Billie & Floyd, but I kept hearing these two songs together. As it turns out, they seem to fit the moment.
