Anime’s Love for the Victorian Era (Steampunk)

Jules Verne, H.G Wells, and many other names were responsible for the early days of what we know as steampunk. It was amazing to see books like 20 000 Leagues under the sea and Around the world in 80 days influence so many works around the world. Of course, Anime is one of those works, and there is a lot of Steampunk Anime out there that are some of the top anime of all time. From 80s anime, to 90s anime, to 2000s anime, and modern anime, there are so many classics that are odes to the industrial revolution and the victorian era of the 19th and 20th centuries. This video is about the influence this has on our medium.
