Piano Concerto in D Minor, Op. 19 (2015-18)

This concerto was originally going to be a piece for the University of Idaho Holiday Concert, similar to “Viennese Christmas“, but due to rehearsal constraints for several years straight it was reworked into a full concerto instead. Largely finished in 2018, with a few minor edits since. Unusually, the winds/brass use instruments more readily available in bands in the United States, so no oboe or French horn, but has clarinet and trombone substituting, and with the 1st and 2nd parts for each instrument written separately.
