Titanic Search: “Chances Are Slim To None“ - Clock Ticks In Hunt For Missing Sub

Sun journalist Jacob Jaffa joins Ian Collins on TalkTV to discuss the latest developments in the search for a missing tourist sub. Jacob says the missing sub is steered using a video game controller, and doesn’t have the same sort of capabilities that a stereotypical military submarine might have, “where it can go up and down pretty much at will.“ He adds that most experts suggest survival chances are “slim to none“ and in the region of 1%, with rescue options being very limited due to the harsh conditions. The US Coast Guard said a Canadian aircraft has joined the search for the missing submersible Titan by using sonar. British billionaire Hamish Harding and UK-based businessman Shahzada Dawood and his son Suleman are missing aboard the vessel, which was on its way from Canada to explore the wreckage of the Titanic when it lost communication on Sunday. In a tweet, the coast guard said: “A Canadian Aircraft P3 Aurora has arrived on scene to conduct sonar searches. “The R/V Polar Prince and R/V Deep Energy are continuing their surface searches. “Total search area completed as of this morning (Tuesday) is 10,000 SQ miles.” #Titanic #Titan #submarine #talktv
