The BRUTAL Execution Of Masha Bruskina - The Teenage Girl Executed By The Nazis

During the Second World War there were many different groups who defied the Nazis and resisted Hitler’s Third Reich. As Hitler’s German army rampaged into different countries in Europe many people were terrified and persecuted by the Nazis. Living in Nazi-occupied territory was very dangerous for many and also terrifying, and there were groups in the Balkans who did resist the Germans. The Partisans for example rose up to take the fight to them at the end of World War 2. However within major cities such as Warsaw, there was resistance to the occupations. In Belarus and in particular Minsk there was a communist/soviet resistance movement arising. One girl who joined this was Masha Bruskina, a young Jewish teenager who joined the Minsk resistance after escaping the Ghetto that was set up in the town.
