We had the pleasure of hosting our dear friend, one of the most skillful classical guitarists Dimitri Illarionov, in the Siccas Guitars studio in Karlsruhe. Dimitri played a few stunning pieces, including a rare performance and a great arrangement of Bob Dylan’s “Knocking on Heaven’s Door.“ He played, among others, a work by Atanas Ourkouzounov, which was dedicated to him. In addition, he plays the “Maria“ of Tarrega and a classical piece by the composer Pietro Pettoletti, which other artists rarely performed.
