Sponge Filter Modification // K1 Micro fluidized filter test

Another quick attempt at getting the K1 Micro filter material to fluidize using a modified XY-380 Sponge Filter, it works but after a few days of running the media is beginning to cycle and fluidize better. Using a 1L wide mouth bottle, drilled out the cap 20mm to accept the clear tube which I cut shorter and ran the airline down through the bottle. It’s still doesn’t sink 100% and occasionally walks a bit, so planning on using silicone to attach a tile to the base.
