San Diego to Aptos, CA - A Complete Real Time Road Trip

This is day one of my west coast road trip (San Diego to Vancouver), done in real-time and is virtually unedited except for stops. This begins in San Diego, near the Mexican border, on I-5 before entering CA-1 (Pacific Coast Highway) at its southern terminus in Dana Point. Nearly the entire rest of day one’s drive is on PCH until San Luis Obispo County, where the road trip detours due to PCH’s closure.
