Aphex Twin - Xtal - hardware only cover/recreation

I hate Ableton, I don’t really _do_ synth videos - my normal stuff is guitars over on @BenWalkerMusic However - Here’s Xtal, hastily assembled from the original samples and as close as I have to the original kit on hand. Samples - * Steve Jeffries, Mary Carewe & Donald Greig - Evil at Play - * The Incredible Bongo Band - Apache - Chords/general resources - @SynaMax @ReverbMachine Sampled on the world’s whiniest S3000XL (the floppy disk also died during the making of this video, so I couldn’t even save the samples...), at a deliberately lo-fi Roland R8 Electronic card for drums Yamaha TX81Z supplies the pad. I had a go at recreating the strings on it, but tbh the ’French Horn’ preset sounds so unlike a French Horn, it might as well be labelle
