Brazilian Wax finally creates it’s first full length album after many appearances in the Bossa’N’Go! Series, including tracks “Volare Via“, “Samba in Se“, “Colpevole“ and “Lontano“ (found here in a new version). These tracks on Bossa’N’Go! travelled worldwide and were featured in the best of the lounge clubs in every angle of the globe. This work combines bossa-nova, jazz and the melodic roots of Italian music. The result is an original example of fresh bossa-nova and poppy jazz sung in Italian featuring the beautiful female voice of Sara Barbone. Brazilian Wax debut with an album that can stand up to the best of bossa-nova, yet with the unpredictability of jazz and the melodic sounds known from Italian singer-songwriters. Italy meets S. America in “A Luci Spente“ (“With the Lights Out“ ) in 12 original songs and one cover, “Arrivederci“ (original from 1959).
