Giant Blue Robber Fly (Blepharotes spendidissimus)

This nice big robber fly seemed pretty angry at being trapped inside the window, so I was a tad wary at first as I didn’t know if it would try to sting me or not. In the end it turned out to be very placid, and I got some nice shots (they get better towards the end, so fast-forward if you get bored). Sorry about the carppy audio, there seem to be some rather severe noise reduction artefacts going on there, but I wanted to record the loud buzz these big guys make, which you mainly hear at the start and end.
