Tsiskaridze & 3 of His Star Male Pupils - Ovcharenko Rodkin Gerashchenko

Nikolai Tsiskaridze & Artem Ovcharenko, his first pupil while he (Tsiskaridze) was still a Bolshoi Star himself, are shown here in Nutcracker variation & coda & Albrecht variation. Next is Tsiskaridze & Denis Rodkin, Nikolai’s 2nd Bolshoi student in Swan Lake variation & coda & an excerpt from La Bayadere. Finally, we see Tsiskaridze & his first star Vaganova graduate, Egor Gerashchenko in Paquita variation & coda & Evil Genius variation from Swan Lake. Artem Ovcharenko & Denis Rodkin have been Principal Dancers of the Bolshoi Ballet for many years & Egor Gerashchenko rapidly rose to Bolshoi Leading Soloist & will surely become a Principal Dancer too. Nikolai Tsiskaridze is currently the head of the Vaganova Ballet Academy in Saint Petersburg.
