Tradition Restored - The Return of EAA’s Prized P-64

For many years EAA founder Paul Poberezny flew aerobatic performances in this 1940 North American P-64 at air shows around the country, spreading The Spirit of Aviation. The airplane was retired to static display in 1988 but returned to the skies at EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2016 to help commemorate the 75th anniversary of the Pearl Harbor attacks. The P-64 is featured in the November issue of Sport Aviation.
