King Charles Offers Public a Peek Inside Balmoral For The First Time

For the first time this summer, The King’s Scottish residence at Balmoral will be open to members of the public. Members of the public will get the exclusive opportunity to take guided tours in small groups around rooms used by King Charles and Queen Camilla. Guests will be given a rare guide through two dining rooms, the flawing room, the page’s lobby and the Red Corridor. The public will also get the rare chance to view the King’s watercolour collection - it will be one of the largest collection of his work to be publicly shown. Inside the castle, there will be no ropes tethering off rooms because it remains a functioning royal home.
