Israel targets Hezbollah intelligence HQ and evacuation route in overnight strikes

Israel’s heavy overnight bombardment of southern Beirut targeted Hezbollah’s intelligence headquarters, Israel’s military said. The military did not disclose who was at the site during the strike, but US reports said the attack was aimed at Hashem Safieddine, the presumed successor to Hassan Nasrallah.
