Jupiter Through A Skywatcher 10“ Dobsonian Telescope on 1-21-13
Here’s Jupiter drifting through the field of view with a clear view of it’s Moon “Europa“ casting it’s shadow onto Jupiter, and the other Moon farther out is “Io“.

Sky-Watcher 10“ Collapsible Dobsonian Telescope
Basic specs are:
• 10“ (254 mm) Dobsonian-style Newtonian
• 1200 mm focal length (f/)
• 2“ Crayford-style focuser with “ adaptor
• 8x50 right angle viewfinder
• Solid rocker-mount with Teflon bearings and tension clutch
• Collapsible tube design for easy storage and transportation
Accessories:
• Celestron Telescope Camera Adapter
• 5mm Celestron X-Cel LX eyepiece
Camera:
• Canon Powershot SX230 HS 12.1 megapixel camera at 5x optical zoom
