Mars close approach to Earth 2022 through my Telescope and Nikon P1000 super-zoom camera

In this video: Mars through my telescope and Mars through the Nikon P1000 camera. On December 1, 2022, Mars will be closest to Earth - 81.4 million km (50.6 million mi). On December 8, 2022, Mars will be at opposition, and will be occulted by the Moon on the same day. Taking advantage of the good weather on November 19, 2022 (about 2 million km further than it will be on December 1), I pointed my telescope and super zoom camera at Mars.
