The Marshall Plan is 75: how past experience will help restore Ukraine

This week marked the 75th anniversary of the signing of the Marshall Plan, a program to rebuild Europe after World War II, in Berlin. The event, which attracted more than 100 participants, was also an occasion to discuss today’s security threats - China’s growing influence, Russia’s devastating war against Ukraine, and the importance of later rebuilding the country as Europe did in the 1950s of the 20th century.
