Track 3 from his sixth solo album “Backless” released in 1978 copyright RSO Records. It was again recorded at Olympic Studios in London and received above average reviews. It reached No. 8 on the Billboard chart and achieved Platinum status almost immediately. It was Clapton’s most laid-back release and some consider it a tribute to J.J. Cale. After the huge success of his previous album “Slowhand” the material on this one was considered weaker in comparison. I feel it’s underrated and hasn’t gotten the respect it deserves. This was the last album to include his band of four years, as George Terry and Marcy Levy left to pursue other endeavors. Written by J.J. Cale and produced by Glyn Johns.
