Taj Mahal and Keb’ Mo’ perform ’Diving Duck Blues’

It’s called “TajMo“ and it’s the first time blues legends Taj Mahal and Keb’ Mo’ have released an album together. It features new songs co-written together as well as songs previously recorded on their own. The two musicians began a nationwide tour last month in Colorado. Speaking to Jeffrey Brown before an appearance at the Chautauqua Auditorium in Boulder, Taj Mahal said that in spite of being called “the blues“, their music is all about having fun. “Life brings a lot of strife these days. In the digital age, it’s even more intense. A lot of people don’t know how to get loose of it. So our job as musicians is to help them get loose and have a good time and feel good about themselves.“ Here Taj Mahal and Keb’ Mo’ perform an acoustic version of “Diving Duck Blues.“
