Part 2 | RARE Great Pyramid, Sphinx & Ancient Egypt Historic Photos | Ancient Architects

In Part 1 of this two-part mini-series I showed some rare photographs from The Sphinx Excavations of the 1920s, 30s, 70s and 80s, and in this video, I’ll be showing you even more rare historic photographs of Ancient Egypt, so we can see how things looked before modern restoration and renovation. This video came about thanks to Artimus Freeman, a collector of historical items, who sent me pictures from a collection of stereo cards he once owned, all of which relate to Ancient Egypt. The pictures date from roughly 1890 to 1902, well over 100 years old, with a few later pictures from the 1930s. Although I have seen some pictures elsewhere online, some of the stereo cards are certainly unique. I have since worked to find even more images from the same time period and have put them into a collection for this video. Since most of these very old and rare photographs relate to the Great Pyramid and the Sphinx, I decided to split the gallery up in a certain way. First, we’ll look at picture
