The Dream (AKA I’ve Got No Trousers On)

Here’s a wonderful modern pub song written by Tom Baxter of Maplewood, Minnesota. It was performed at the Troubadour Acoustic Concert Series’ “Chorus Song Night“ on November 24, 2023. This is an annual event where a number of songleaders present songs for the audience to sing. It’s an excellent demonstration of how quickly an audience can pick up a long and wordy chorus, given the incentive.
