Here is a step-by-step tutorial to how I made my version of the dress that only cost me about $100 for an epic photoshoot project. I did not make it with the goal of historical accuracy. Instead I used time saving techniques that resulted in a gorgeous dress that didn’t take hundreds of hours to make. I omitted the extra layers of ruffles that were under the top layer of the movie version of the dress in favor of time and expense.
