Bob Seger - Seven (1974) [Complete LP]

One Of Our Deleted Albums Series Bob Seger released three albums between 1972-1974 which are relatively unknown and hard to find, which is surprising given Bob Seger’s very successful career later in the 1970’s. Seven is one of those three albums. The other two are Back In 72 and Smokin’ O.P.’s. Seven was originally released in 1974 on Reprise Records, catalogue number MS 2184, and, although it had some modest commercial success, it was/is nowhere near as well known as Bob Seger’s post 1974 albums with the Silver Bullet Band. Having said that Seven seems to be the first album on which the Silver Bullet Band is credited. Despite Bob Seger’s very successful career with the Silver Bullet Band after 1974, Seven remained a relatively unknown album and became increasingly difficult to find. It was deleted from the Reprise Records catalogue by the 1980’s and was later re-released on CD by Capitol Records in 1993 before being deleted again a few years later. This audio was taken from a 1974 Canadian pressing of the original Reprise Records vinyl LP which I bought when it was first released in 1974. As far as I am aware, Seven is currently unavailable on CD or vinyl except as second hand copies of the original 1970’s LP’s and the 1990’s re-issued CD’s. Track List: 1. Get Out Of Denver 0:00 2.
