Cui Ruibin is a third-generation yiquan master, student of Yao Zongxun, vice president of the yiquan community, taught in the UK, Sweden and France. Yao Zongxun (1917-1985) - disciple and successor of Wang Xiangzhai, the founder of yiquan. As a child, he moved to Beijing, studied at the Faculty of Culture of Peking University. From the age of 16, he studied martial arts with Hong Xuzhu. From 1937, he also studied quan from Wang Xianzhai. Received true transmission, was nicknamed “Xian’s Successor“. In the 1940s, he won victories over both Chinese and foreign fighters, became famous among the capital’s martial arts teachers, was nicknamed “the young master of wushu.“ In the course of several decades of research, he turned quan into an integral system, leaving an important mark on the history of quan.
