Winnipeg’s Favourite Uncle: Tito Boy of Tito Boy Restaurant

🌎 SAY HELLO TO WINNIPEG’S FAVOURITE FILIPINO UNCLE…”TITO BOY” @titoboyrestaurant (Tito translates to Uncle). We had the pleasure of meeting “THE” REAL TITO BOY and it was an honour and a treat to not only taste their delicious offerings but also to learn about their story and what they aim to accomplish with their restaurant. This is more than just a restaurant, it’s a community, a cultural hub, and a vibrant space to learn and appreciate the intricacies of the Filipino culture. We were able to try delicious traditional Filipino food like pancit bihon (noodles), kare-kare (pork belly with vegetables in a sweet and savoury peanut curry), grilled eggplant, sinigang (sour tamarind-broth based soup with vegetables), and sisig (sizzling pork belly and pig’s ears).
