LIVE: Qatar pavilion opens at St. Petersburg International Economic Forum

The opening ceremony of the Qatar pavilion at St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF) takes place on Wednesday, June 2. A representative of the Qatar delegation takes part in the ceremony. The building area of the pavilion is over 2,000 square meters and is centred around a suspended rattan installation. After the end of the Forum, the used resources will be donated and distributed to Russian universities, libraries, museums. The 24th St. Petersburg International Economic Forum is set to take place from June 2 to June 5, 2021. The event will focus on global and Russian economies, social issues, and technological development. The forum has been held since 1997.
