Kramnik is 97% accurate vs Svidler’s Grünfeld

This analysis features the chess game between Vladimir Kramnik and Peter Svidler from the 1998 Dortmund tournament. The opening is a Grünfeld Defense, Exchange with Kramnik deploying his knight to e2. Svidler aims to disrupt white’s setup by inserting a check before Kramnik castles. Kramnik’s accurate play provides us with an excellent example of strong central pawn play in the middlegame and endgame phases. I’m a self-taught National Master in chess out of Pennsylvania, USA who was introduced to the game by my father in 1988 at the age of 8. The purpose of this channel is to share my knowledge of chess to help others improve their game. I enjoy continuing to improve my understanding of this great game, albeit slowly.
