Dad Where’d You Go? | 爸，你去哪里了？ My fourth year film from Sheridan College! The story is inspired by my experience growing up in Shanghai and falling in love with the city! My one minute thesis film is a sequence part of a bigger project than I am still working on! Lila, a young girl from the French countryside, sneaks into her dad’s suitcase to travel the world with him. In China, her dad accidentally swaps suitcases with a Chinese man, and when the suitcase is finally opened, Lila is astonished to discover a family of Chinese people instead of her dad! Amused and surprised, the Chinese family joins Lila in an exciting adventure through Shanghai to find her father.
