It’s incredibly close, with a clear line of sight Local law enforcement sources tell me they are furious the Secret Service & DHS are blaming them. They say they did their job as requested by the feds - which was mainly to patrol the outer perimeter, according to them Law enforcement sources also say there were MULTIPLE comms channels in operation that day and law enforcement personnel were not synced up - so local cops didn’t necessarily know what DHS or Secret Service knew in real time Whistleblowers also say the feds severely compressed the preparation time for this event. What should take days of planning according to protocol, they did in a matter of hours. Bottom line - we need ANSWERS. FBI didn’t want me there yesterday - demanded at what point my team and I leave.
