America: Ventura Highway

This one goes out to Will. With the weather improving and daytime cycles becoming longer, I wanted to do a set of videos, dedicated to the simple pleasure of Driving. Starting off, we present: America’s Ventura Highway! Despite my somewhat egregious daily commute, I must confess that I still find solace, in the open road. Close your eyes and imagine a country road, surrounded by golden fields of wheat, converging on a pure blue sky, dotted with puffy white clouds. A sight so wondrous, it actually hurts to look at. If you can, go out and search for an Alligator Lizard of your own, or two... Once again, our turntable is a modified Mitsubishi LT-5V The modifications of this particular 5V, were designed by Bruce Evans, with the woodwork itself done by Elsworthy Cabinets, Victoria Street in Kitchener circa 1985.
