Outfeed and Assembly Table with Torsion box top and Microjig Matchfit Dovetail Clamps

Here’s the build video for my latest piece of workshop furniture: my outfeed and assembly table! The frame is made from 19mm (3/4 inch) plywood and accommodates four drawers and two shelves. The top is a nice, thick torsion box made from 18mm MDF, so that the surface will always be dead flat. The top surface has dovetail groves cut in to it to accomodate Microjig’s Matchfit dovetail clamping system. It’s essentially a t-track clamping system that doesn’t require me to keep buying more track each time I build a new jig or sled; I can just cut another dovetail groove with the router!
